Robin

High tides, vicious gales tell the tale,
Her story of glum sunsets and moon rises,
Her little wings hurt as she glides in a world,
A world she dreads where everything in it remind her to frown.

Slow gashes of nothingness bestow the unknown,
Her long and unchaining days bring her to a weep,
For her weak perches beg to be heard…
But the storm hushes her cries…she weeps, she weeps.
Silently her world wonders where she is.

Must the world be so cruel that she cannot see her hurting?
A fight within brings a flight to the abyss
Eyes open, eyes closed darkness all around
A thick smog of lifelessness is all that there is
More and more she sinks in what she fears,
Her heart beats yet she cannot feel.

A call, a hint that there’s a way roars,
Suddenly she can feel the thumps from her big heart,
Eyes open, flowers and a walkway appear,
There she is whole again like an embryo
Pure of the cold of this world,
Embraced by the allure of a smothering scent
She smiles, the glitz of her eyes reflect the uncut woman she is.

What a Bloke Shoundn't See (Haiku)

Your wrinkled stockings
Appear a tad bit tired,
Why does thee bother?

You can be tasty
Like Dorothy Lamour in her youth.
Ye legs are a snag.

All I ask of thee
Is to ditch them long stockings,
Then I can take thee.

Oh me daft ferrets
Moan endlessly about it.
Just lose them Nora.

I would like to see
Me lone bird really dressed up,
That would be sublime.

Orient Express --
Thee and I to Australia.
Think about it lass?

Lost Overwhelmed Virtuous & Enchanted (L.O.V.E)

When words cannot define what the heart feels,
And when the word "love" equates to a cliche;
immortality is born.

When her smile means more than the world,
When that alone makes me feel like I can...
I can do anything just to see her smile again.

I know now what this heart is meant for,
I feel I can live and die a thousand times
Just to get a single chance to see her,
Feel her skin against mine
and listen to her charming voice .

My will is overpowered by her;
For she cast spell on me long ago,
I will let lose my emotions and let us be,
Be as one soul, one heart
And one body underneath the bright stars.

My Piece of Heaven (Haiku)

Her silky long hair,
Flow like the great Zambezi,
Steadily it goes.

Soft to my touch,
I feel her caramel skin
And melt in delight.

Her lips so tender,
Keep me longing for a kiss,
O' I feel like a child.

Note To Self

Life: Eternal
Love: Mortal
Endless like the darkness of the universe,
Joyous like a boat floating in the blue sea,
Motherly embrace grips with undying affection,
Abrupt like sunlight with it’s seductive warmth,
A scroll with words written in the sky
Yet this is what we hope for!

Beauty: Deception
Heart: Veracity
Like an egg it hatches,
Untouched like the beauty of the heavens.
As the sun shall set so will the futile perfection,
But a day will come were soul will embrace redemption.
Beneath the sand lays a dyke where no plant may grow.
Until that day, my thumping heart will have no cause to beat.

Sorry life but I have lost my faith in love!

All I Want

I want you…
I want you to know that I am dazed by you,
I want you for you; a soul with a meek ambiance,
I want you to see how I see you…a perfected masterpiece!
I want you to know that I am your pillow when you need one,
I want you for the heart you hold, the smile on your face and the adorable giggles you make.
I want you to walk with me to the shores of bliss and all things wonderful,
I want you to believe in us, a union made by the gods themselves.
I want you for me as I will eternally be yours to love...
I want you to be you because that’s who I want,
I want you and no one else in this world...
I want you to hold my hand as we immortalize what we have,
I want you to kiss the heart in me as I will for you,
I want you to be the one I kiss every morning and every night,
I want you to be the dream I have longed for,
I want you to be everything I have ever wanted and more…
All I want is to gaze in those lovely eyes, O’ they are so beautiful!
For the life in me…all I want is you!
Is that too much to ask for!?

This piece was inspired by Ozzy's song "I Just Want You."

Divine and Charming Floret

Starlight, star bright...
Let the light from far beyond
Shine through the spector they know her by,
Like a morning glory, her purple petals will blossom
And she’ll rise like the phoenix she is…
To reveal the ornate splendor she holds…
She will creep to the galaxies and touch each
And every star like the adorable toes on her feet.

High in the night skies…her majestic grandeur
Glimmers like an Orion descending to the Earth
A lone bloom to the eyes and thoughts she is,
The envy of Aphrodite and Venus she is,
A mystic fascination she is…
O’ how wonderful it is just to gape
At the marvel she is..

A forgotten charm lurks
Like a story untold…
She wanders gracefully like a
Lost songbird gliding through a rose maze,
As a flute softly plays from lands unknown…
Her wanderlust’s enchantment to touch glee rises,
Once again as it was when her wings flapped
With a vigor to be…to be whole.
As her royal heart throbs with a passion tune
She sets off  flames of a holy adulation.

The Bird That Flew Away

If the sun would speak,
I’d have many tales for it…
For I have seen, done and been everywhere I’d imagined.
Some may call it a joke, others a mystery but I rather call it a miracle,
They who seek the "whys" and the "if
s" of what they thought was unfair,
Know not that I did it, I wrote my script and lived it, like a pearl beneath the sea
I was that little bit of brilliance among the corals of the world.
So why then do you still ask why I closed my eyes?

An escapade that turned out so right,
So ripe that the world listened to the voice in me,
That little girl in me came alive then,
This was the secret to my freedom.
Not a very well kept one.
My wish is  that the heavens will open for every child out there ..
Let them see that this world is right for them as it was for me.
Joy washed me every time I see people wearing pretty smiles,
Yet you still ask why I closed my eyes!

If the moon told me night stories,
Every child would sleep with a smile as I did,
For I told it the truth, my happy realities.
I found me, I loved myself and I liked all that came my way,
But why do you ask yourself why my eyes remain closed?

Thank you, Maya Angelou.

Always

When life bares no meaning,
I will seek for your touch and embrace its warmth,
When I am cold and my heart is without a beat,
I will ask for yours then I will live again,
When my darkness falls,
You will be the torch to see us through life's foggy perils,
Like a glider you will steer us clear from our fears...
As we cling to the soothing feel of our emotions,
Whenever I feel lost...you will be there,
As I will for you and for us.

Joie De Vivre

Teach me how to kiss your heart?
Be the light as we walk in this life’s meandering  pathway,
Let us be as we must; marvels of passion fumes,
And I will bathe in the warmth of your soul's splendor.

Nubian Queen

Lips smudged in the charm of her soul
Speak a sweet tongue only the gods know of,
Away from the Nile into her heart…
The parched pine for her reach lives on,
Her myrrh scent tames the sirocco’s child,
A Taureg walk into the depth of her shore
Brings all, cures all and sees years through.

The golden Saharan sands gashes her walk,
Not two, not four but an infinity of eyes peek
As the blue sun of night sings her praises
A mere mortal  though she is, she is a goddess among queens.

Futile Beauty!

When the moon slept,
We wept more,
I wept endlessly,
Even the sun does not have a beauty as her’s,
Her voice mistaken by many for a fine harp’s tune,
Your body admired by all the men in the streets,
A mind only loved by me; the victim of your heart’s numbness.
Your heart cold as steel stole the only warmth I have.
My pride, my wife, and my soul you were in my dreams.

When your eyes closed never to open again
I wept more,
More than everyone you knew
The most expensive jewels cannot match her beauty,
No woman can weigh against the splendor she held;
Her slender hips,
Her luscious lips,
Her immensely proportional body:
Is the pride of a mindless woman!
She was such.

To die in your heart I wished
Tomorrow's promise broke
Today’s misery is all you left
And I kept my heart broken when you lost you.
Unlike the diamonds she wore, her beauty is mortal
Her mind tainted by the wounds of self,
My morn remains unheard at your funeral,
My tears are unnoticed in this rain you’ve left me in,
A hollow heart you had,
A soulless body you carried,
Now I wonder what I saw in you!
Was I blinded by your senseless figuring?

Passion Flames

Flares of my inner desires
Rise to the depth of this mire
Of sensations within my soul’s Yearning
For a deeper reach or perhaps a touch
To seal this heart with passion.

A deep passion scent
Is the air that the angel sent
Its tastes find a succulent
Vigor of this soul food
I cannot deny this…
This feeling of human completion:
Its blissful nature massages my soul’s
Desire to have you and you only.

To be in touch this epiphany
To seek not that which is found
To hope for a higher essence of life
To be safe in this shelf of lust
Is more than I can ask for.

A climb to the peak
Of this untold reach
Is not what they preach
When I lose me in my rich
Before I rest I beseech
To touch your heart of peach.

She Walks And I Look

When she walks by,
She makes my day.
A mayday alert rings
Whenever she walks by.
She walks and I look.

She swirls like a an ocean's wave,
And I admire every little bit of her.
My eyes met hers, I melt with shyness.
Her sublime beauty echoes for my touch,
The hue of her lips beg for my kiss…
She walks And I look.

Beauty meets eyes as she walks,
Light she brings as she walks,
A new life in me she gives as she walks,
Trees whisper her name as she walks,
She’s the talk of the men when she walks,
Their eyes are magnetized at her sight…
Flamboyantly she walks and I look too.

Glowing eyes of the night watchers
Light her pathway as she walks,
She is their princess.
A priceless sight of splendor she is,
She wears as bright as day
Her eyes as dark as night verbalize
My inner reflections…
She sleeps and I look.

Golden footprints she leaves,
Lead down my soul,
Through my mind
And straight to my heart.
I must follow them!
She strolls down the valley of
My lust, I look and she does too.
We both smile and walk away…
Tomorrow she’ll walk my way
And I’ll look at her again.

This piece was inspired by Maya's 'Phenomenal Woman'.

Sashay Swiftly

On the shores of wrong and right
She glides to bring me mirth,
Amid her madness she smiles
And kisses me with her spackle of light...
She is my passion.

Her luscious scent I breathe,
Like a wave she sways my ghoul.
To embrace her soul is to live like king.
Solemnly a wrath sees her to her sleep as
Tears eternally smear onyx oaks
Of untold pleasures.

Her warm clouds cover me
Every day she lives in me,
Glowing in the dark a
Fortress of bliss she brings.
A sparkle of hope reigns and gives
Birth to our passion,
Blame me not for
Her broken wings guide me home.

A Love Lullaby (Tanka)

Slumber softly love,
Rest your sorrow in my heart,
Breathe gently in sleep.
Gaze in your soul forever
And sleep in my arms tonight.
